How to Get the Most Out of Turmeric’s Joint Health Benefits

It’s almost impossible to get the therapeutic levels of turmeric’s active constituents used in the research simply by adding it to your meals. You would have to consume a massive amount (by some estimates up to 12 heaping tablespoons daily!), so taking a high quality turmeric supplement is your best bet.

It’s important to note that turmeric contains a wide range of highly beneficial phytochemicals, with one of the most well known being curcumin. However few people know that turmeric also contains a special class of polysaccharides called turmerosaccharides. These beneficial plant nutrients act rapidly on the immune system to help relieve pain and restore joint flexibility, and they could be the difference between a turmeric supplement being a game changer instead of a money waster.

But because turmerosaccharides are water-soluble (unlike curcumin, which is fat-soluble), they are excluded from the vast majority of turmeric extracts, which are produced using an alcohol extraction method. And as it turns out, if your turmeric supplement doesn’t include these water-soluble constituents, you’re missing out on the full pain relieving benefits turmeric can provide!

An Incredible 71% Reduction in Joint Pain! Is This Even Possible? Research Says Yes

Recent research on the effects of daily use of this patented turmeric extract, yielded some really impressive, consistent results. In a randomized, placebo-controlled trial, researchers used three different well-recognized tests to measure joint pain reduction.

The result? Participants experienced a 42% reduction in joint pain within just 3 weeks, with the results continuing to improve over time! At the end of the 6-week study, their joint pain 1 was reduced by an incredible 71%!

The researchers behind this study believe that this unique turmeric extract is able to deliver such impressive joint pain relief because it works to reduce inflammation across multiple pathways in the body.[4]

Another Natural Way to Reduce Pain by Roughly 40%

Based on my extensive research, I firmly believe that, along with turmeric, no comprehensive joint pain formula would be complete without a potent dose of boswellia, which is another one of nature’s miracle workers.

Boswellia serrata is a large tree best known for producing a resin that contains boswellic acids, which like turmeric, has a long history of use for natural joint support. And modern science has shown that boswellia does in fact lower levels of inflammatory markers by modulating the production of pro-inflammatory enzyme 5-LOX, which is common in joint discomfort and other inflammation-related concerns.[5,6]

The problem is that the active constituents in boswellia are very poorly absorbed into the bloodstream. But researchers have developed a new, proprietary form of boswellia that has been shown to be 52% more absorbable than other boswellia extracts.[7]

In a recent double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial investigating this special form of boswellia, joint pain sufferers reported significant reductions in pain and stiffness as well as better joint function and mobility. Another double-blind, placebo-controlled study found that this special boswellia extract was more effective than a generic extract at reducing pain and stiffness and improving joint function on all parameters, including impressive 60% reductions in some measurements of pain and stiffness. In addition, users reported reduced pain and stiffness within a week![9]  I don’t know of any other natural joint pain ingredient that works so well, so quickly.
