    I attempted to buy your product of b12 but your site when I wanted to go to check out only took me to another advertisement for another product and another product so I can’t order your product although I would like to have used it. Ridiculous!!

    I already have your Max B Complex formula and I have been taking it for about 20 days by now. It is so much more digestible than other B-complex vitamins I have had in the past that I can say I am satisfied with the product from that feature alone.

    The entry on the ingredients label lists the B-12 as methylcobalamin form, the same as this product you are presenting here and the dosage is the same, 1,000mcg (1mg) and the % daily value is listed as 1,667%, but on the ingredients tab in the product page for this item even though the type and amount are identical, the % daily value is given as 16,667%, ten times greater. Please check this as I am sure it is a typo but I am concerned that such an obvious anomaly was allowed to pass through to publication.

    The article above states, “… Cyanide is a toxic poison that the body cannot metabolize and, over time, it can accumulate in brain tissues with disastrous results.”

    By definition, poison is toxic, but the source for the statement is the real issue– the study is impossible to access and review, using common search engines.

    Can you link readers with the specific study at citation 26 which addresses accumulation of cyanocobalamin in the brain?

    The full citation for the statement is–

    am 82 years old and have been told that the optimum amount of Vit. B is 5,000 – 10,000 daily. What is your recommendation for your MAX-B12?

    How do B12 and B3 differ?

      All the B-vitamins (like all individual vitamins) have their specific functions but also work together and are responsible for virtually all metabolic and developmental processes that take place in the body including, energy production, cell division & replication, growth, etc.
      Vitamin b3 is also known as niacin, and helps the food we eat turn into energy – it also plays a role in maintaining our skin and nerves healthy. The amount of vitamin b12 one should take all depends on your current levels, which can be determined with a simple blood test. If you are deficient in vitamin b12, you would need a higher strength. Our Max B12 is available in 1000mcg and 5000mcg. If you feel as though your energy levels are fairly low, I would consider the 5000mcg strength. Since vitamin b12 is water soluble, taking more than you need is not harmful as excess b12 will be excreted through your urine. You may also want to consider a B complex that contains all 8 members of the b family.
