Recipe: Refreshing Cucumber Lime Cooler
Stay cool as a cucumber with this hydrating, not-too-sweet drink. It really hits the spot when it’s hot! Cucumbers have a very high water content and are cooling to the system. They’re also a good source of vitamin C and the mineral molybdenum. They also help the body flush out toxins.
You can replace the cucumber with any kind of melon.
½ c. fresh lime juice, chilled (2 limes)
3 T. honey or stevia to taste
1 large cucumber, chilled, seeds removed, coarsely chopped
10 ice cubes
Mint or lime slices for garnish
